Coronavirus Spread Initiatives
One of the key messages we have heard during the coronavirus outbreak is the importance of washing our hands. We have created a colourful, simple and impactful poster that acts as a timely reminder to all staff. It also shows the importance your organisation places on employee wellbeing.
Use visual aids to convey the message
Our Hygiene Advice for Employees poster is based on NHS and Public Health England advice. It is a simple to follow reminder of what to do. An A3 poster, it is available in a variety of formats - foam board, gloss encapsulated or laminated.
Essential NHS Advice
A key way to reduce the spread of the coronavirus is to encourage staff to wash their hands. The NHS provide specific guidance on this. They suggest a minimum of 20 seconds or apparently singing Happy Birthday twice.
For the latest updates on the virus, we also recommend regularly visiting the official NHS website.
The importance of hygiene
Placing importance on basic hygiene is particularly relevant at a time when organisations are looking to do all they can to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. It also shows employees that the company cares about their personal wellbeing and safety.
Whether you are using a bacterial hand wash and water, or a gel sanitiser (which should contain at least 60% alcohol), the 20 second rule still applies. You are advised to rub the gel over all the surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry.
